Where to get breakfast and coffee before eight in Hagastaden?

Hagastaden wakes early: the hospital changes shift, and Karolinska Institutet and the offices at Torsplan fill up before eight. The list below shows the cafés, bakeries, restaurants and grocers open at 07:30 on weekdays according to their own published hours. A business that publishes no hours is left out, because the page cannot promise its door is open.

Karolinska University Hospital lists its outlets but states on its own page that they are privately run and that the hospital therefore cannot show their menus and hours. So the hours are here instead: LIVET at Karolinska opens at 06:30 and Vete-Katten on Eugeniavägen at 07:00. In the blocks around Torsplan and Hagaesplanaden, Café Vólta opens at 07:00, Coop Hagastaden and Hemköp Torsplan at 07:00, and the lunch places Gastropol and K-märkt at 07:30.
