Cane Rum Society, at Ninni Kronbergs gata 1 on the Solna side of Hagastaden by Hagaplan, is a restaurant and a rum bar in one room. The kitchen cooks the Caribbean: Niki's Rum & Honey Jerk Wings cost 150 kr, half a corn-fed chicken in jerk spices with rice and peas and fried plantain 295 kr, and the Trini Curry Lamb Shank, marinated for a day and braised for eight hours, 365 kr. The Caribbean jackfruit curry and an Oumph burger are vegan, and there are lactose- and gluten-free options; the children's menu is 195 kr with ice cream. The bar calls its rum collection the largest in Scandinavia, and rum tastings and a Rum Dinner Club run as evenings booked on their own. Nordic Bar Show nominated it Sweden's best speciality bar in 2022 and 2023. Hours are 16:00–22:00 Tuesday to Thursday and 16:00–00:00 Friday and Saturday, with the kitchen open from 17:00; Sundays and Mondays are closed. Tables are booked through TheFork or by phone, and a private tasting room can be taken for groups.
